AN automania-themed display that pulls a huge crowd to view classic and collector cars (some of which are auctioned) plus new metal, Motorclassica plays at Melbourne’s Royal Exhibition Building this weekend.
Up to 24,000 visitors are expected to survey a display of all sorts of rare metal, to former giants of Bathurst to latest Italian exotica to a cavalcade of cars dear to Holden, which chose to display here a week before it pulls the pin on car production in Australia.
Here’s a selection of images from last night’s opening.
